Today 30th June 2022, Azimio la Umoja Presidental candidate Raila Amolo Odinga took his campaign to Migori county, Raila was accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua, wiper party leader doctor Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Kitui governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu, Suna member of Parliament and other Azimio la Umoja supporters from Migori county.
Through his Facebook page, Raila Amolo Odinga uploaded several photos captured during his rally and wrote "Migori county has roared. My administration will spare ahead of a national economic revolution that will increase productivity, enhance inclusivity, promote shared prosperity, reduce unemployment, eradicate poverty and lower the cost of living" said Raila Odinga.
Professor George Wajackoyah, a presidential candidate for the Roots Party of Kenya, visited the county a few days ago to promote his agenda. Migori county residents greeted Wajackoyah warmly. Wajackoyah assured inhabitants of the migoro region that he would legalize marijuana since it is the only way he can rebuild the Kenyan economy.
