Uhuru Kenyatta's Message To William Ruto And Raila Odinga On State House Succession

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta is now preparing to leave the state house after August General Elections. We all know that this month we are at the peak of the campaigns all over the nation before election week arrives. Citizens of Kenya are now wondering who will the president hand his power to upon his term expiry. Among the presidential candidates, we have two strong running horses who have massive support from citizens, William Samoei Ruto and Raila Omollo Odinga.

However, Uhuru Kenyatta has made it open that succession of the state house is not an easy task, he said that one must be fully committed to being president. The challenges that a president face is not easy at all.

Wahome Thuku quoted Uhuru Kenyatta's words on his Facebook account as follows.

"State House is not a place of fun or merrymaking. I am looking forward to the August elections, to end this term and go to have my peace with none bothering me."
