Breaking News: Uhuru Confirms Lady Justice Martha Koome As The Chief Justice Of The Republic OF Keny

Lady Justice Martha Koome has officially today been appointed the next Kenyan Chief Justice by the president after David Maraga's retirement on January 10th. 

Martha Koome who was still under vetting by the law society of Kenyan was earlier nominated by the Judicial Service Commission. She emerged the best among the other candidates including Justice Marete Njagi, Justice William Ouko, Justice Chitembwe among others who also attended the interview exercise.

Her name was forwarded by president Uhuru Kenyatta to the LSK for vetting process. The LSK debated her for the same where she gave out quality and impressive answers in the parliament. She finished her vetting process and got approved by the parliament.

Finally she has been formerly appointed by His Excellency president Uhuru Kenyatta to be the Kenyan Chief Justice. 

Congratulations to her for being the first female Chief Justice of Kenya and also the 6th in Africa. She has set an example to women and have approved that women can also lead the country.
