Stop Misleading Community For Political Gains, Francis Mwangangi Tells Kamba Governors

Former Yatta MP Francis Mwangangi has called on leaders to work on uniting the Kamba community ahead of August elections.

Mwangangi has called on leaders not to mislead the community during this campaign period for personal gains.

He has noted that some leaders have now started using the name of the community to seek jobs in the national government.

"We have started seeing some governors from our region have started looking for jobs in the next government, there is a very big possibility we will greedy leaders who concentrate on what benefits them, I urge them while they doing that not to divide the Kamba community," Mwangangi noted.

He has maintained that the kamba community is behind Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka calling on residents not to listen to any other person seeking to divide them.

Mwangangi who served as Yatta MP is now deputizing the Wiper candidate in the Machakos gubernatorial race, Wavinya Ndeti.

"Our respect as a community will come from our unity, let us not divide the community, we have only one leader who is Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, let us wait for his directives, if there is any ongoing talks, he will guide us," Mwangangi added.

The former Yatta legislator affirmed that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is in the ballot in the presidential race until any talks.

He has also called on the youth not to be used by leaders to cause chaos during the campaign season.

"Me being a politician, I am calling youths, do not allow politicians use the advantage of lack of jobs and use you for political gains, Kenya is here before elections and Kenya should remain after elections," he added.
