The ODM party leader Raila Odinga today is in Mombasa county with the mission of popularizing BBI. He has been in the coastal region for a few days now. The Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho is hosting him.
In his address to the residents, Joho urged his people to support the document when referendum comes. He went on yo add that through BBI, the county was going to benefit by getting extra allocation of billions of money that will transform the lives of the locals.
Joho also proceeded to say that he was in the race to become the next head of state as he had all the quality that Kenyans were looking for. He however noted that he was going to fight for the ODM ticket with the former prime minister and exuded confidence he was going to become the party's presidential flag bearer.
The vocal leader also added that he had been a very strong supporter of the ODM leader for the longest time. He recalled that when Raila was sworn in Uhuru park, he opted to join him despite the government having withdrawn his security. He said this just to show the locals how he was a staunch supporter of Raila.
