Ruto's UDA brigade took their campaigns to Kisii region for a series of political rallies at Bobasi costituency as they step up support for William Ruto's presidential bid. Kisii county is one of the counties in Nyanza region. The region is the homeground of the former prime minister Raila Odinga, who doubles up as the presidential candidate for Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party as well as the party leader of ODM. He is also the kingpin of the Nyanza region.
The team was led by Joash Maangi who doubles up as the incumbent deputy governor of Kisii county as well as an aspirant for Kisii senatorial race using Ruto's UDA ticket. He was accompanied by a host prominent leaders among them aspirants for the County Assembly and National Assembly. The aspirants joined forces with him in selling their Bottom up economic model to the residents as they reveal their plan on the economic transformation of the region.
The team was warmly received by hundreds of residents who turned out to grace their rally as they accord them a heroic grand entry to Bobasi. The team urged the residents to support UDA's candidate in the region assuring them that their administration under Ruto's Kenya Kwanza government will provide employment opportunities for them.
