Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui who was elected on a Jupilee party ticket has broken silence over the ongoing political discussions in the country. The governor has now said that those who were opposed to the constitutional changes that were to see Nakuru county get an extra five constituencies and other nine billion are the enemies of the people of Nakuru.
The governor has said that there is no equitable distribution of resources in the county and for instance he said that Naivasha has a total of 150, 000 registered voters whereas there is another area with 20, 000 registered voters, he said it is not right for him to support anyone who opposes the good for the Nakuru people, the governor has said that anyone who supports the needs of his people is his friend and he shall support him.
Speaking on the failure to make a replacement of the late Victor Prengei as a nomimated senator from Ogiek community, he has said he does not support it but solidly stands with his people, Lee was speaking to KTN News this morning and the link is here;
