August General Elections is gearing up as various Presidential candidates try to reach out to as many voters as possible. Two Leading Coalitions in the country, Kenya Kwanza and Azimio One Kenya Alliance have both submitted names of their flag bearers and running mates to IEBC.
Presidential Aspirants today met Officials of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision, IEBC, at Bomas of Kenya as from this morning where respective interviews are taking place. Eleven Presidential Aspirants have been disqualified from vying for Presidency after they failed to forward the names of their running mates on time whose deadline was May the 16th of 2022.

Citizen TV has reported that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Presidential candidate, William Ruto will appear before IEBC on June 4th for clearance to run for the August 9th Polls. William Ruto is one of the frontrunners for the upcoming Presidential election and his appearance before IEBC will catch the attention of majority of Kenyans.
