President Uhuru Kenyatta's point man Hon Ngujiri Wambugu has today delivered bad news to the deputy president Dr. William Ruto Ahead of the 2022 general election as he predicts his political downfall, Outlines what will contribute to the same.
According to the outspoken lawmaker, while speaking during an interview with the STANDARD NEWSPAPER today on Sunday 24tg of October, deputy president Dr. William Ruto is in for a rude shock in the upcoming General election in 2022 because he has unknowingly trapped himself.
While at it Hon Ngujiri has argued that DP Ruto has made himself to be seen as someone who cares about all Kenyans, meaning that Choosing a running mate from Mt Kenya region will change how people see because the country has been ruled by Kikuyu's and Kalenjins only. On the other hand, if he will consider Choosing his running mate outside Mt Kenya, it will automatically mean that he will lose the region's votes. In other words, DP Ruto will lose miserably either way.
"The only person who is on the safe side of the electorate is Raila Odinga because he's a neutral candidate having come from a community that has never ruled before. As for DP Ruto, he has trapped himself unknowingly. If he chose a running mate from Mount Kenya, he will lose the support of other communities. If he chooses from outside Mt Kenya, he will lose the support of Kikuyus, either way, he will lose miserably, "Hon Wambugu Said.
