The President of Kenya, William Ruto, appointed to his cabinet the men and women who he felt were the right candidates to implement the vision that he had for the country.

Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa was one of the few chosen by President William Ruto to head one of the rockets available and she has been doing a good job at it.

This evening, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, she has written to the head of the public service to stop the extension of the mandatory retirement age.

This is applicable to those that have attained the retirement age in the public sector but keep on having years added on to their tenure as per the reports that we have with us.

The Cabinet Secretary has asked the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei to suspend all further extension of years to those that have attained the retirement age with immediate effect.

She has also asked that all existing cases be revoked with immediate effect as the government seeks to have a proper legislation put in place on the retirement of public servants from their office when they have attained 65 years.
