President Uhuru Kenyatta has today dismissed reports that he is currently working behind the curtains trying to influence the outcome of the upcoming 2022 Presidential election. Addressing the nation via a televised media briefing as reported by NTV, the head of state has now announced that his government is committed to ensuring that the country recovers from the Ravaging economy as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
"Dear Good Friends, it's true that we are nearing the next general election. Therefore. Wish to clarify that my government isn't at all linked to the circulating fake news that is planning to influence the poll. We are committed to ensuring that every Kenyan enjoys his or her right to live in a peaceful country," Uhuru said.
"President Uhuru in his address to the United Nations General Assembly has called on world leaders to come up with measures to ease the economic pressures," NTV reported.
At the same time, that Raila Odinga is now a worried man ahead of the upcoming 2022 Presidential election is now doubtless. This follows the explosion of confirmed reports that some ODM allies are now pressuring President Uhuru Kenyatta to announce his firm stand on the handshake deal with Raila.
According to the latest reports by the star, that the political arena is troubled, with sundry suspicions and grave bad blood, is not in doubt. The space has been awash with unending tears and recriminations. Allegations of betrayal within various formations are in overflow.
