Ugandan musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi wine, discovered this when he decided to challenge the incumbent President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 35-year stranglehold on power.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has come out and advised the singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu,to concentrate working on his music. Museveni,says that the former legislator,places his trust in whites.
While addressing a group of youths from Kampala at state house, president Museveni noted that Kampala residents entrusted leadership positions to several opposition politicians who are clueless about politics.
"The people you trusted with leadership have betrayed you,when you vote wrong people,you only increase problems. Many of you are still young and voted about twice," he stated.
The president also sent a strong warning against those that are planning to storm the streets wish riots. Museveni who accused Bobi wine of being a violent character,saying his actions have incited the youth and turnished the country's image.
"Your artist,when he was once in West Nile,the soldiers boxed him. He reported to the whites. He thinks whites are God." He said.
Wine was set to see change of leadership at all levels. They have not achieved the ultimate,but says they are still on course.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,says that musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu,to stick to his singing career. Museveni said that he still has unfinished business in Uganda as president and would leave if asked to do so by his National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
