The following message is purportedly sent to the officials by Jubilee party members who defect to support Ruto. They stated that numerous discussions led to the decision being made.
The Busia County Jubilee Party members, led by the party's secretary general Nagafa Sabi and the former gubernatorial candidate Lukas Messo, have reportedly claimed that they are being discriminated against by national official leaders because they now declare that they are prepared to work with the current administration. The members have made it clear that they won't put up with the leaders' annoyance any longer.
Additionally, they have stated that because the country's leaders have abandoned them, they have shuttered their offices and chosen to cooperate with the current administration. They have also stated that it is imperative that party officials check in on their members to make sure they are participating in party activities rather than being excluded.
