On his Twitter account, the DP said that they talked about a wide range of topics, including the Rironi-Mau Summit Road project, which the French government is helping to fund. He also thanked the ambassador for the more than Ksh 134 million that French-owned businesses in Kenya gave to help build and fix boreholes in Marsabit, Isiolo, and Samburu counties.

The three counties are in an area that has been hit hard by drought. The Vice President has been working with both the private and public sectors to raise money to help areas that are running out of food and water.
