Popular political commentator and blogger Wahome Thuku took to his social media and posted a post that has angered Kenyans and Mostly Ruto’s supporters. Many questioned why he hated the second in command with so much bile whereas he was elected alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his post Wahome Thuku wrote, “William Ruto is cheating Merians. But anyway when he wants to cheat people, he always knows the right place to go.” This statement has been received differently with some accusing him of propagating hatred and hate speech.
This statement comes at a time when the second in command is in a three days tour of the Meru region to popularize his 2022 politics. Today he was in Tigoi where he initiated several projects by area residents in a bid to ensure that the region supports him in 2022.
