Kenyans have once again woken up to the sad news of bereavement in the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) following the death of vocal Nyanza MP's father.
ODM party has been thrown into mourning following the death of Vocal Homabay Town Constituency MP Hon George Opondo Kaluma's Father on Tuesday, 4th October.
Kaluma's father, Mzee Alima has been reported dead in a statement of condolence penned by the ODM party on its social media platforms.
Taking to it's timeline on Twitter, ODM has penned that it commiserates with the family, friends and relatives of Kaluma following the sudden death of the legislator's father.
Further, ODM has prayed that the family of the Homabay Town MP may find oeace and fortitude amid the difficult times.
"We commiserate with the family, friends and relatives of Hon. @gpdkaluma following the death of his father Mzee Alima. May the family find peace and God’s fortitude during this difficult time," ODM wrote.
Recently, Kaluma skipped President William Ruto's visit to Homabay Town on 2nd October, citing lack of means and communication.
