Just hours after deputy president William Ruto launched his manifesto in a colorful event held at Nairobi's Moi Sports Complex in Kasarani, political analyst and journalist David Makali has made a hidden revelation about the suppused UDA manifesto.
In a late night tweet, Mr Makali observed that the manifesto revolve around only one individaul that is the Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader Dr. William Samoei Ruto, and did not the entire team members. He admits that the ideas are good and well presented though the components of team was missing.
Reading farther into the UDA's blue print for the Bottom-Up Economic agenda, Mr Makali views that this could be an idea of showing his teammates that if elected, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and the entire Kenya Kwanza leadership shall be relegated to levels of no authority.
'Good ideas well presented but the Kenya Kwanza manifesto leaves no doubt that it is about one man. William Ruto. From the way it is styled and laid out, it is the image of a messianic, benevolent, missionary leader and "his" ideas that are projected, his DP and KK team are relegated to a passing photo here and there. Nothing like the Jubilee duet with Uhuru. Perhaps from his experience, @WilliamsRuto is making clear from the outset that he is on the steering wheel, this is his gig with the rest being supporting cast. And he wants to be judged.' read Makali's Twitter thread. https://t.co/p06HYhiwvt https://t.co/TbV44woR4f
