Ruto Will Beat Raila Hands Down, But OKA Has A Better Chance, Says Farah Maalim

Former deputy speaker Farah Maalim has said Deputy President William Ruto will beat Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga if an election is held today.

"In the probable event that the presidential competition takes place between Raila and Ruto, Ruto would win hands down," Maalim said during his appearance on TV47 on Monday morning.

Maalim, however, lambasted Ruto for "fueling the class war."

“Ruto wants to take advantage of an economy class and create a revolution and that's dangerous. OKA (One Kenya Alliance) is the only hope we have,” he added.

Maalim also credited Ruto with being generous.

“People say he is corrupt, but even though he is corrupt, he is an extremely generous person and it works well for him,” Maalim said.

He also said that Ruto is a brave man and speaks to the hearts of the people.

“He knows how to get his message across. As misleading as it may be, but you can't ignore it,” he said.
