Ruto mourns the demise of his allies who died in a grisly road accident

The Deputy president William Ruto has mourned his party members and aspirants who on 7th April died on road accident.

Nandi hills MP aspirant Wesley Kogo met his untimely death on Thursday morning while on his way to a morning interview at one of radio stations in the country.

Kogo, who was among passengers in a 14 seaters Matatu died when the vehicle rammed into a bus.

Unfortunately, only Kogo died in the accident. However, the police say they have already launched investigations into the matter.

Thursday 7th evening, Chaani ward MCA Aspirant Nancy Wanjala while travelling to Voi for the burial of his brother also was involved in an accident that too claimed her life.

The former headmistress at Girls High school had resigned to venture and advance his political ambitions.

The deputy President William Ruto took to his social media to encourage and pass a word of condolences to the families of the deceased.

"United Democratic Alliance commiserates with the families, relatives and friends of Wesley Kibet Kogos ( Tingeet) who was one of our parliamentary aspirants for Nandi hill constituency and Nancy Wanjala Mwashume Mwashuma of Chaani ward in Mombasa county who passed on through road accidents.

We pray to God to comfort their families and constituents. The UDA family stands with them during these difficult times." Read Ruto's Facebook post.

The two were to vie in the coming August general elections under the United Democratic Alliance which is under Kenya Kwanza umbrella.
