Governor Mandago is among the governors that have served their two terms and are facing a reality of leaving the plum job that has been synonymous with trapping of power and control over billions of shillings
In what is seen as increasing his political stake to remain relevant and be considered if Ruto gets power in 2022, Mandago drummed up support for Ruto saying that his work now is to gather Kenyans to hustler nation.
"Now my work is to gather people and bring them to hustler so that we can build this nation together. And our prayer now is to pray for Ruto to become president. Do not disturb God with long prayers, just make a simple prayer that God through his grace makes Ruto president 2022," he said.
