Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, has grown to be a well-known figure among young people, with his name trending on Twitter virtually every single week.
Following his appearance on Citizen TV, when he pledged to provide a gift to the person who came up with the nickname "Riggy G," the DP found himself on the hot list today.
Gachugua had admitted that his full name would be difficult for certain people to pronounce and that the moniker Riggy G sounded better.
Gachagua claimed he used that name to support young people in the creative sector.
"We need to call him Riggy G after the young lady who determined that Rigathi Gachagua is a little bit challenging and unmelodic. To inspire our youth, I adopted the moniker, "Gachagua remarked.
Ivy Chelimo, the creator, has the Twitter handle "Shawty for nicknames." She recently earned a law degree from the Catholic University of East Africa and creates lifestyle material (CUEA).
Gachagua also offered to give her some money from his salary as thanks for her inventiveness and asked his sons to find her.
"My sons have been instructed to find that girl so she can join us for supper. I can encourage her to accomplish anything with my pay "further Gachagua.
