Baringo county senator and the KANU party leader Gideon Moi has allegedly reacted after Kalonzo Musyoka exited the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya following the failed mission of being named the running mate for Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga.
Raila who happens to be the Azimio la Umoja presidential flag bearer settled on NARC Kenya Party leader Martha Karua as her running mate ahead of the August elections.
With Moi declaring that he will be defending his senate seat in the August elections, on the other side also revealed the he is backing Raila Odinga’s presidency despite Kalonzo being in the ballot.
This comes after the Wiper leader also named Andrew Sunkuli as his presidential running mate after exiting Azimio.
Moi said that his party is firmly in Azimio and they are more determined in bringing everybody on board to ensure Raila rips history.
“KANU is firmly in Azimio La Umoja One Kenya and there's no turning back. However, we are determined to bring everybody on board to ensure a resounding victory for the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga because we believe in inclusivity, individual liberty and national unity. Addressing KANU Campaign Coordination Committee in Nairobi.” He said.
