President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is expected to retire from the presidential office officially on the ninth of August this year after the general election where Kenyans electorates are expected to elect the successor of Uhuru Kenyatta. Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Jimmy Wanjigi, Ekuru Aukot and Ruben Kigame are all eyeing to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Today, Raila Odinga's nominated running mate Hon Martha Karua was campaigning today together with Peter Munya in Laikipia county. They claimed that they will help Azimio presidential candidate Hon Raila Odinga to climb the mountain. On the other side, Kenya Kwanza campaign was held in Western Kenya Kakamega county in Khwisero constituency.
On his twitter account today evening, Kakamega county gubenatorial aspirant Hon Cleophas Malala has today commented on Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula's win in the negotiation table. He claimed that unlike Azimio, Kenya Kwanza are aiming first to revive the factories which will help the luhyas.
