He has noted that he has every right to attend the meetings that the Meru county governor has been conducting in the recent past including top government Meetings.
"The same way media people attend government meetings, or why are you guys here? so that is the answer."Murega Baichu noted.
"Let us say we have visitors who are contributing to our growth, why should I not be there? Government is made up of me and you, the same way everybody has a chance to attend the governor's meeting, why is it an issue when it comes to me, it's my right," he said.
Social media users have been criticising the newly sworn-in Meru county governor Kawira Mwangaza for involving her husband in official county business.
Photos shared by Kawira on social media validated the reports as they showed her husband seated on her right side during one of her meetings.
Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza has slammed critics for questioning her appointment of her husband Murega Baichu as the Meru Youth Service Patron and Hustlers Ambassador.
The governor announced the appointment on her socials, complete with a picture of herself shaking hands and smiling with her better half.
