Good News To Kenyans As President Ruto Announces New Affordable Housing Rent In Mukuru Kwa Njenga

On Monday afternoon, the Mukuru kwa Njenga affordable housing project had its groundbreaking ceremony, which was presided by by His Excellency the Head of State President William Ruto.

In addition to announcing good news to Kenyans during his speech at the prominent event on Monday, he also declared this is his first project as President of the Republic of Kenya.

He claimed in his address that the bedsitter residence, which will be provided by the Kenyan government, will only cost Ksh 4,000.

The country's middle class will be greatly relieved by the fact that Kenyans will now have to pay Ksh 5,000 or Ksh 6,500 for a single bedroom or a two-bedroom property.

Bedsitters in Mukuru Kwa Njenga will pay Sh4,000 in rent, while one-bedroom apartments will cost Sh5,000 and two-bedroom apartments will cost Sh6,500, according to President William Ruto.

The primary goal of this project (cheap housing) is to entice Mukuru locals to move here. A Ksh. The folks who are currently paying $3,000 in rent there will come and pay it as a mortgage here, according to President William Ruto.

He asserted that discussions over housing, which were important topics in our country's political debate, took place on all sides of the political spectrum.
