Embakasi East Mp Hon Babu Owino has revealed to have presented himself to the headquarters of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation to clear his name of any wrongdoing regarding the Jacaranda chaos whereby Ruto's motorcade was stoned.
"I have heard my unworthy opponents soil my name every opportunity they get. Most recently, no less than the Secretary General of the Wheelbarrow Movement Ms. Veronica Maina accused me of being behind their stoning and even went as far as calling on the IEBC to suspend my participation in the election."
Owino revealed to be optimistic that the DCI will clear him distancing himself from the chaos that rocked Ruto's rally. He went ahead to accuse Ruto of planning the unfortunate incident for the sake of political gain.
"Now, William Ruto MUST present himself to the DCI tomorrow to clear his name. I categorically put it to you that Ruto organized his own stoning in Jacaranda to whip sympathy for his failing Presidential bid."
Babu Owino finally criticised Ruto's camp stating that they have sensed defeat hence pulling various stunts to attract sympathy votes. He expressed his optimism that Raila will win big the 9th August General Election.
