"Msitufukuse Kanisa" Sen. Murkomen Begs Clergy To Lift The Ban Of Barring Politicians In Church

Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Hon Kipchumba Murkomen today begged the church leaders to lift their ban on political leaders in speaking in church to the congregation.

Speaking today in Moiben in the going ceremony of Gogo Susana Kabilo's funeral who is Hon Silas Tiren's mother at Uasin Gishu County, Murkomen asked the church leaders not to ban them in speaking in church to the Congress, "Naomba Reverent msitufukuse kanisa hata kama sisi ni wanasiasa msitufukuse."

Murkomen added, " Kama sisi ndio wenye dhambi sana, nani anafaa kuenda kanisa? Si ni sisi wenye dhambi tuende kanisa wale wameokoka wakae nyumbani."

Last week archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit and other Church leaders from the Anglican churches banned political leaders from speaking in church terming the act as unlawful act the Christian doctrines.

Politicians are fond of using worship centres during the campaign season to preach their ideologies and seek favour from the saints by luring them in various ways as opposed to church doctrines and Christ teachings.
