Big blow to the former prime minister Raila Odinga as leaders from his stronghold strongly opposes his call for mass action. Raila Odinga has been protesting president William Ruto's move to suspend the four IEBC commissioners who differed with IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati. He condemned the suspension of Juliana Cherera and three other IEBC commissioners terming the move as political.

Therefore a section of former leaders in Luo Nyanza have castigated Azimio La Umoja One Kenya leader Raila Odinga's call for mass action. A report that has sparked alot of reactions from people across the country.

Former Nyatike member of parliament Edick Omondi, former Kisumu County senator Fred Outa and former Migori County Governor Okoth Obado. They have said that there many ways of solving the country's problems without calling mass action.

The former leaders say the call for mass action will put the youth at risk of ugly confrontation with the police. Therefore they revealed that the youth need economic empowerment and not political unrest.
