Today, a new leader has been appointed ahead of the August general elections. This includes the deputy president of Kenya, Dr. William Samoe Ruto, who is a candidate for the U.S. presidency. This occurred after reports that one of his powerful UD governor candidates is a two-drooper surfaced.
According to K24 News, the reports that have been tabled before the court now demonstrate that Hon. Shisha Jumwa, who is running for governor of Kilifi County using the UD Party, is only a form two delinquent.
According to this publication, the reports demonstrate that Hon Jumwa completed her basic education at Takungu Primary School in 1991 before moving on to Ganz Secondary School, where she graduated in Form Two.If these reports are accurate, Ruto will be given a warning because Shisha Jumwa might be disqualified from the governor's race.
"In the August elections, Malindi Misha Jumwa is ineligible to run for Kilifi County governor since she lacks a valid degree.
They requested that Jumwa be disqualified from the upcoming elections due to a lack of the necessary education in documents submitted to the court by petitioners Modern Citizen Kenya, Rajab Menza Shikarra, and Daniel Shengo Kahindi." The reports said.
