Court turned disorderly after the Nairobi court magistrate storms out of the courtroom on Thursday morning during the case of the ex nairobi governor Mike Sonko. This was after Sonko's lawyers claimed that the court is not listening to them.
Sonko has been at Nairobi hospital since the day he was released on a cash bail. Earlier the lawyers and the Nairobi hospital had told the court that the suspect needs to travel to South Africa for a surgery. However the court magistrate demanded the lawyers to present Sonko to answer his graft case.
On Thursday the court magistrate refused to recuse himself from the ex governor's case stating there is new evidence. Sonko is accused of issuing a fake tender while he was a governor of Nairobi county.
Sonko's woes started after he directly attacked the head of state in a political forum.Since his impeachment from the office of governor he was throwing blame to the deep state.
