The general election in 2022 is rapidly approaching. Various eloquent and convincing as well as flashy leaders are plotting a showdown across the country.
Politics is heating up as the succession plays out. On the way, some casualties may be spotted. Some leaders have lost their positions as a result of their alleged support for other camps. According to reports, the governor of Kajiado, Honerable Lelenku, has fired his county executive officer for allegedly announcing his support for Deputy President William Ruto of the UDA Party. He was allegedly relieved of his duties just a day after announcing that he will run for Senate on the UDA Party's ticket.

This comes just hours after the governor hosted the leader of the Orange Democratic Party, Hon. Raila Odinga, in his county yesterday. The MAA came to the meeting and endorsed Odinga for the top position, arguing that he represents the community's best interests and that it is past time for them to support him.
