Gatundu North MP Anne Wanjiku Kibe has confirmed that she will defend her seat on the ruling Jubilee Party, a day after sparking a heated debate on social media over alleged maltreatment by the ruling party.
Kibe insisted that she remains firmly anchored in Jubilee and will seek re-election on its platform, notwithstanding the intrigues behind her pleas on Facebook, when she requested the prayers of her fans.
Kibe remarked on her Facebook page that a season two of her representing the large constituency in parliament was nearing completion.
"Sometimes silence speaks volumes," she said as she wished her fans a peaceful and pleasant weekend.
After posting an odd remark expressing disappointment in the Jubilee Party, which she had been enthusiastically championing, the first-term MP left her followers and netizens wondering what had happened to her.
What's is your view on Ann Wanjiku Line after staying cool for a long time and now saying she is back to Jubilee.
