Opinion: Why David Murathe Should Quit Jubilee Party

The Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe has been the most feared person in the Jubilee Party leadership. His authoritative character has been perused by many political analysts as harassment to those of divergent opinions. Some party members have expressed their displeasure with Murathe citing harassment.

The Jubilee Secretary general has appeared in national televisions and pressers to give tough warnings to members of the party rebelling against the set rules and standards. This has created tension as many led by Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria went ahead to form a personal Party, Peoples empowerment party.

However the deputy president who parted ways with his boss president Uhuru Kenyatta had also been pointing Murathe as the man behind his humiliation in public rallies and official party meetings. He has also been attacking him indirectly during campaign rallies urging him to respect their investments in the party.

The Jubilee party belongs to millions of kenyans who overwhelmingly placed their confidence in the party's leadership. David Murathe should be kind to the elected representatives to enable smooth running of the governments daily activities. The members should not feel dissatisfied or embarrassed at their backyard. However democracy should the guide in their daily activities.
