Kajiado South former Member of Parliament Katoo Ole Metito joined politics while still a student and from then things have been good on his side.From Former president Mwai Kibaki's tenure untill to date when the head of state is William Ruto Katoo has never missed on a lucrative post in the government.
Last Friday President William Ruto appointed Katoo Ole Metito as the statehouse controller.The state house controller is responsible for controlling all the duties in the statehouse.In Kibakis tenure he appointed Katoo as the assistant minister for sports and youths affairs.He was also the assistant minister for Regional Development.In 2012 after the death of professor George Saitoti,he was appointed as the minister for internal security.
In 2013 when Uhuru Kenyatta took charge he become the head of state blue-eyed boy in the national assembly where he was the majority whip.Mr Metito was Mr Uhuru's eye in the national assembly and he ensured the presidents plans were executed with ease.
Many people who have worked with the politician have said Mr. Metito is a decisive man and he deserved the posts.
