One Major Mistake Made By Mt. Kenya Billionaires That Will Come To Haunt Them.

The wealthy and rich people drawn from the vote-rich Mount Kenya region mostly referred to many as billionaires have been on the spot in the recent days following their actions and decisions that they have been making. They are the most affluent group of people that are known for dictating very crucial activities that goes on in the country such as the type of top leaders to be elected in any general elections because they engage in supporting a particular candidate financially.

A few weeks ago, former Prime Minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga was the first presidential hopeful to hold a meeting at Safari Park hotel with billionaires from Mount Kenya who are currently supporting his bid to become Kenya's fifth president once the sitting President Uhuru Kenyatta leaves office next year.

The major mistake that these billionaires seem to have made is one that deals with neglecting the voice of people from the backyard. This is based on the fact that they have been making a move to endorse certain politicians for top positions without necessarily listening from the people to see who they want as their leader.

It should always be noted that the Kenya is one of the democratic countries around the world and this means people have the right to choose whoever they want without being influenced forcefully by any particular person.

To make things right these billionaires should first give their people a priority to speak their own mind about who they want to rule them. After a successful scrutiny of what the people need, they should then make their assessment and then move to endorse a leader which the people have accepted.

Otherwise, if this mistake will come to haunt Mount Kenya region billionaires because they may end up realizing that the type of leaders they were preferring was not the one that their people wanted. This would have wasted their precious time and resources that would otherwise be used to do essential development projects in the society.
