Kiambu County Woman Representative Hon Gathoni Wamuchomba, has claimed that it is only President Uhuru Kenyatta who can sanitize the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga from demonization in Mt Kenya region.
Speaking on an interview with TV47, Wamuchomba said that it is President Uhuru Kenyatta who demonized Raila in the mountain region as a bad leader and therefore, he is the only one who can sanitize him by telling the residents that the former Premier is not bad.
She argued that Uhuru campaigned against Raila and said bad things about him in the region during the 2013 elections campaigns and 2017 elections. Hence he is the one who can change that narrative again ahead of 2022 general elections, but unfortunately he is too late and the people of the mountain have decided to back Deputy President Dr William Ruto's presidential bid.
"Uhuru painted Raila as a bad leader in 2013 and 2017 to Central Kenya voters. He is the only one who can sanitize him. Let him not sent his cronies because they will not succeed. It is already too late even for him to change people from supporting Deputy President William Ruto." She said.
