Sirisia Constituency MP Hon John Waluke was on Friday, 18th November 2022, released from jail on bond terms.

The Court of Appeal granted Sirisia MP John Waluke a Sh10 million cash bail pending the hearing and determination of his appeal against a 67-year jail sentence imposed on him over a Sh297 million fraud case.
Kakamega County Senator Hon Boni Khalwale has sent a message to Waluke shorly after his release from jail.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Khalwale has told Waluke to take heart amidst his tribulations since it shall be well.
The legislator has urged the Sirisia MP to take heart since every difficulty must come to an end.
"Our brother, take heart. It shall be well.Hakuna refu lisilo kuwa na mwisho," Senator Khalwale said.
