Mt Kenya Leaders Turn Against Ruto, Reveals How Cash Promises Have Brought Trouble With Their People

Mt Kenya leaders have turned against Ruto's promises as they found themselves in loggerheads with their supporters.

They reveal that residents have crying out blaming them for not giving out their share as DP Ruto promised. The leaders find themselves in disagreement with their people who are allied to Ruto.

As Ruto continue to woo Kenyans to support his presidential bid, he has been quoted several promising some amount of money to people.

Ruto allies from Mt Kenya includes; Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga. MPs Rigathi Gachagua, Faith Gitau, Kindiki Kithure, Alice Wahome, John Kinyua among others.

There have been complains from people requesting DP Ruto to fulfill his promises. The recent case was in Githurai, Nairobi on 7 January where traders requested Ruto to give out 2 millions that he promised. Other case was in Kongowea market, Mombasa on 26 October, 2021 after traders questioned on the missing 1.2 million.
