Heavy security personal has been deployed at the Kimilili Mp Didmus Barasa rural home in Bungoma.

Majority journalists who had been called to attend and cover the much publicised press conference have been denied entry.

The police officers enforcing the law are being led by Kimilili OCPD and OCS.

The MP had hyped the press conference where he is said to offer a 'Major Statement'.

The OCPD said that they

are enforcing the Covid-19 law that prohibits a large crowd.

are enforcing the Covid-19 law that prohibits a large crowd.

Efforts by the media to have access to Barasa's home were rendered futile as the security personnel could not hear none of their pleas.

The vocal Tanga Tanga allied Mp has left Kenyans confused with what he might announce during the press conference.

A few journalists had already entered the compound with majority of them pitching camp at the main entrance.

The OCPD was firm on them and asked them to observe the Covid-19 protocols even though the government had recommended 100 people per gathering.
