
Before their scheduled Mega rallies in Marsabit, deputy president William Ruto and his colleagues have already arrived in Moyale. The group visiting Marsabit just a few days after Raila Odinga and Martha Karua visited the region in an effort to promote their agenda.Police in Moyale were waiting for Ruto when he arrived.

Aden Duale and a few local leaders welcomed Ruto's helicopter as seen in a video posted by one of his closest allies. The heavily guarded plane lands in the area as it heads to Marsabit to solicit local support for governing the country following the August elections.
Ruto's visit was crucial as he returned to the region after releasing his manifesto, which touched heavily on the economic activity of the inhabitants, including cattle husbandry, which is the main source of income for those who live there. He'll be stopping by the region multiple times with his strong suporters including Aden Duale.
