In a video posted online, ANC party members led by Lamu County Governor Issa Timamy claims that ANC party is not going to be folded. Saying that this is not the right moment for folding parties. And they don't think it's important at this time there are other pressing issues that leaders should work on. Kelvin Lunani also added that, ANC party leaders will move around the country mobilizing to make ANC party stronger.
"For the avoidance of doubt we want to make it clear that ANC party is not going to fold. We are an independent party we are part of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.The issue of holding party, as a party we don't think that it's important at this time and stage. Kenya is facing very pressing issues. Saa hii sio wakati wakusema vyama vivunjwe. Wakenya wanatarajia viongozi ambao walichaguliwa to deliver." Says Governor Issa Timamy.
"Tutakuwa tunaenda mashinani tukifanya mobilisation. Tukipanga chama chetu na ninataka niwaeleze ya kwamba kelele ya bwana Malala ni kelele ya chura ambayo haitamzuia ngombe kunywa maji. Chama ya ANC Iko kindete na ninataka niambie natk kuambia wakenya wote kwamba chini ya governor Timamy tuko kidete tuko ngangari wasiwe na wasiwasi", Kelvin Lunani added.
