Controversial Kenyan political analyst and professor Mutahi Ngunyi has sent jitters to the deputy president William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza Coalition after his new allegation of what the Mt Kenya region and the Kikuyus are planning to do to him soon. According to Ngunyi who has been a fierce critic of the deputy president ever since the fall out with president Uhuru Kenyatta, Kikuyus are only having some bit of Ruto's money and soon will all decamp going to the elections.
Ngunyi has been alleging that one can only rent the Kikuyus but cannot buy them, and that DP Ruto will be in for a rude shock come August 9 this year.

However, a number of top Mt Kenya politicians have already secured the United Democratic Alliance party ticket to defend their various seats which counters Ngunyi's allegation that they will dump Ruto on the wee hours. These include Kimani Wamatangi, Kimani Ichung'wa, Ndindi Nyoro among many others.

Below are some of the reactions online.
