
Ruto’s bid in the August polls has continued to grow after a former governor today escorted his entourage to a rally in Pokot. This coming just hours after another popular Radio presenter from Nakuru openly decamped to his party and endorsed his 2022 bid saying its the best for the country and its people.

The former governor Kachipin openly endorsing Ruto as he also seeks to clinch the gubernatorial seat of the same area. Also in attendance were several defectors who have vowed to popularize UDA in the entire area even as Ruto continues to traverse the country.
The leaders present included members of parliament such as Lilian Cheptoo from West Pokot who recently defected, Samuel Moroto from Kapenguria and also Peter Lochapong among others from the same area and different regions. The area governor failed to attend since he has been campaigning for Raila and the Azimio team in the August polls.
