However, two Jubilee Party politicians, the deputy president, William Ruto and the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen showed shared their throw back photos while spreading the word of God.

From his archives, Ruto's throw back photos while preaching in company of Rachel Ruto and some of his friends caused an online uproar in social media platforms. Ruto was a Christian Union official while in campus, and used to preach to fellow students.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen preaching.

The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also used his official Twitter page to post a throw back photo that showed him in the company of another man whom they used to preach with. They were holding a Bible and a loudspeaker, with Murkomen confirming that the photo was taken at a time when he used to spread the word of God.
