Uhuru Kenyatta was dealt a huge blow by a seven bench judge at the court of appeal when they rendered his push for the BBI bill unconstitutional, Null, and Void. These remarks throwing Uhuru Kenyatta back to the drawing board over his plans to have a formidable force backed by him to succeed him in 2022.
The initial plans were to have several posts included in the BBI that would cater to all the principals. This was to haven through the all-inclusive tag, where leaders allied to his would be given several positions and back one candidate for the top seat.
However, with the ruling going against them, it is time for Uhuru and his team to rethink the next move which probably offers one candidate the top seat while the rest promised ministerial positions. As things stand Uhuru is expected to meet the same leaders on Wednesday in Statehouse.
