The Kenya Kwanza alliance has summoned all its lawmakers and elected leaders at large for a crucial meeting tomorrow with details on its agenda remaining scanty at press time.
As NTV journalist Oliver Mathenge reports, the Kenya Kwanza alliance has convened a parliamentary group meeting tomorrow that will take place at the Windsor hotel in Nairobi county, the meeting expected to be chaired by deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
"Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to chair a Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group meeting on Monday at Windsor hotel," he reported.
This will be the first ever parliamentary group meeting that will be chaired by the deputy president with similar meetings in the past taking place at State House under the chairmanship of president William Ruto.

The meeting comes at a time when the ruling Kenya Kwanza alliance is facing onslaught from ODM leader Raila Odinga who has called for public consultations that are likely to degenerate into street protests.
