One day,President Jomo Kenyatta was travelling in a car with his guest, Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie, from JKIA to State House.
Haile Selassie mocked the president about the president's uneasy behaviour after observing a guy urinating on the side of the road on their route to the White House. Jomo pledged to look into the situation.

Kenyatta made an announcement that the findings of his investigations were available after moving into the State House. He asserted that the man the emperor observed (urinating) was in fact an Ethiopian security guard who was occupied with making sure everything was secure. Everyone in the room, including the two friends, laughed enthusiastically.

Men can still be seen standing by the sides of the road, attending to nature's beck and call many years later. Even though it may be difficult to discern if they are Ethiopian security personnel, it is critical that this behaviour be stopped immediately.
