
Hon Wangui Ngirici ditched the UDA party which is headed by Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto. She will be vying for the Kirinyaga County gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate in the August polls. The vocal politician has broken her silence as she thanked her people for the warm welcome she was given ahead of DP William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance manifesto launch. Hon Wangui Ngirici has not made it clear her preferred presidential candidate.
Hon Wangui Ngirici is a vocal female Kenyan politician from the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. She is the outgoing incumbent Kirinyaga County Woman Representative. Hon Wangui Ngirici was elected in the National Assembly during the hotly contested 2017 general elections through the ruling Jubilee Coalition party of Kenya. She is among the first vote rich Mt Kenya Region politicians who ditched the ruling Jubilee Coalition party of Kenya and formed the United Democratic Alliance party of Kenya ahead of the fourth coming general elections to be held in August this year.
