The former Majority Chief Whip at the Upper House, Senate, Irungu Kang'ata who is currently an ardent supporter of the Deputy President of Kenya William Samoei Ruto is decrying an attempt by the government which the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) commonly refer to as The Deep State to rig the Juja Constituency by-election.
In the information shared by Senator Irungu Kang'ata on his official Twitter handle, police officers have started shooting at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Dennis Itumbi who is the digital strategist for the United Democratic Alliance Party has shared a screenshot of Senator Irungu Kang'ata's tweet where he expounded the reason of the alleged shooting by police officers at the aforementioned polling station. Dennis Itumbi did this on his verified Facebook account.
According to Dennis Itumbi, the police officers are shooting with an aim of causing tension so that they can sneak pre-marked ballot papers in the polling station.
