The Deputy President Dr. William Ruto has been crisscrossing the country as the political temperatures continue to rise following the massive campaigns on the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI). On Sunday, the Deputy President was in his Rift Valley backyard where he presided over an empowerment program in Narok County. The second in command was in Kisii County yesterday during the Send-Off the father to Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi.

Today, the DP met micro, small and medium-sized enterprise players from Nairobi County at his Karen residence. He said that such business enterprises should not be criminalized but instead, the government should facilitate their connectivity, cash flow and confidence to create more jobs. Well, DP Ruto has been to three regions since Sunday and the latest reports indicate that he will be visiting the Coast region on Thursday.

Lungalunga MP Hon Khatib Mwashetani has revealed that he will be hosting the Deputy President in his constituency which is in Kwale County. The County overwhelmingly voted for Raila Odinga in the previous elections but the recent Msambweni By-election results show that DP Ruto might have succeeded in wrestling the region from the grasp of Raila Odinga.
